Roma è il miglior film dell’anno per i critici di Los Angeles

Il Los Angeles Film Critics Association ha assegnato i suoi premi di fine anno ed ha scelto Roma di Alfonso Cuaron come miglior film della stagione.

Nonostante il setback dei Golden Globes e l’incognita di una distribuzione Netflix che trova sempre nuovi avversari, il film di Cuaron resta uno dei favoriti.

Cuaron vince anche per la migliore fotografia, ma arriva secondo per la regia e il montaggio.

Migliore regista è Debra Granik per Senza lasciare traccia, i migliori attori sono la regina Olivia Colman per La favorita e Ethan Hawke per First Reformed e se la coppia fosse la stessa anche alla notte degli Oscar non ci sarebbe davvero nulla da dire.

Grande considerazione a Los Angeles per il capolavoro di Lee Chang Dong Burning, che arriva secondo per il miglior film, vince a pari merito con Un affare di famiglia per il miglior film straniero e per il miglior attore non protagonista con Steven Yeun.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse è la migliore animazione.
