Golden Globes. In testa Barbie, Garrone c’è: tutte le nominations!

Questa volta l’Italia c’è con Matteo Garrone e il suo Io capitano: è tra i sei nominati al miglior film internazionale.

Le nominations dei Golden Globes sono il primo vero indicatore significativo nella lunga stagioen che porta agli Oscar. Il peso della manifestazione della Hollywood Foreign Press Association è crollato drasticamente negli ultimi anni, ma dopo le riforme dell’anno scorso, qualcosa sta cambiando nuovamente.

Le cinquine storiche sono diventate sestine non si sa bene perchè, ma i titoli sono quelli attesi.

I premi verranno consegnati il prossimo 7 gennaio.

E così i film nominati sono diventati 12. I sei registi però sono Scorsese, Nolan, Lanthimos, Cooper, Gerwig e Song.

10 candidature per Barbie, ma ce ne sono tre per le canzoni e una per la nuova categoria Cinematic and Box Office Achievement – francamente una cialtronata.

Seguono con 8 nominations Oppenheimer e con 7 Povere creature! e Killers of the Flower Moon.

Tra gli attori, molti film hanno tre candidature contemporaneamente: parliamo dei terzetti di Scorsese e Oppenheimer e di quelli di Povere creature e May December.

Nominati anche Cage per Dream Scenario, Phoenix per Beau ha paura e Chalamet per Wonka.

Fa piacere ritrovare Alma Pöysti per Foglie al vento di Kaurismaki tra le migliori attrici.

Nella parte tv 9 nominations per Succession. The Bear  e Only Murders in the Building seguono con 5.

Sconfitti e delusi: Ridley Scott dovrà aspettare ancora per un premio alla regia e Emeral Fennell non ha bissato il successo con Saltburn. Poco amore per American Fiction che ha vinto il TIFF, in una categoria – quella delle commedie, davvero affollatissima.  Tre candidature un po’ di testimonianza per La zona d’interesse di Glazer, al film, alla colonna sonora e nella categoria internazionale.

Una sola candidatura per il musical tratto da Il colore viola. 

Nessuna candidatura anche per due film sciagurati come il Ferrari di Mann e l’abominevole pasticcio Origin della DuVernay.

Niente per The Killer di Fincher, manca anche l’acclamato The Iron Claw di Durkin.
