Emmy: Succession, The Last of Us e The White Lotus dominano le nominations

E’ la HBO a festeggiare, dopo le nominations annunciate per i premi Emmy della tv americana, che saranno consegnati il 18 settembre.

I suoi show di punta ci sono tutti, segno che il proliferare di piattaforme e serie alla lunga non sembra aver intaccato la supremazia dello società che gravita nell’orbita Warner e che ora ha in Max la sua versione streaming.

L’ultima stagione di Succession è in testa con ben 27 candidature comprese 9 per i suoi attori e attrici.

Subito alle sue spalle si posiziona The Last of Us di Craig Mazin con 24 candidature e a completare il podio la seconda stagione di The White Lotus, ambientata in Italia con 23 nominations di cui 9 per gli attori tutti non protagonisti tra cui anche Simona Tabasco e Sabrina Impacciatore.

Nella categoria serie drammatiche non si tratta delle uniche tre serie HBO, perchè c’è spazio anche per House of Dragon.

Completano il lotto Andor, il finale di Better Call Saul, The Crown e Yellowjackets, che paiono contentini riservati alle altre emittenti (Disney+, AMC, Netflix e Showtime) più che reali candidati con delle chances di vittoria.

Tra le serie comiche si segnala soprattutto l’assenza di Poker Face firmata da Rian Johnson con Natasha Lyonne, mentre la favorita pare essere proprio la splendida seconda stagione di The Bear. Nel lotto anche gli eterni candidati Mrs Maisel, Only Murders in the Building, Ted Lasso e Barry, oltre a Mercoledì di Burton.

Nelle limited fa sorridere la presenza di un disastro assoluto come Obi Wan Kenobi, accanto alle amate e discusse Beef, Fleishman a pezzi, Dahmer e Daisy Jones & the Six.

Tra i tv movie si segnalano le sette candidature per Prey.
