Gli Independent Spirit Awards hanno comunicato le candidature ai loro premi di fine stagione e hanno attribuito ben 8 nominations allo sgangherato film con Michelle Yeoh.
Alla sue spalle il bellissimo Tár di Todd Field con Cate Blanchett a 7 candidature.
Tra i nominati a miglior film dell’anno anche Bones and All di Guadagnino e l’acclamato Women Talking di Sarah Polley.
Tra le opere prime il bellissimo Aftersun.
