Leonardo Di Caprio e Brie Larson vincono gli Screen Actors Awards

Dopo il successo ai Golden Globe e quello ai Critics Choice Awards, Leonardo Di Caprio e Brie Larson aggiungono alla loro stagione trionfale, un altro premio, quello del Sindacato, lo Screen Actors Guild of America.

Nella notte hanno ritirato le grandi statuette con la maschera, che tradizionalmente contraddistinguono uno dei premi più ambiti dell’anno, per i loro ruoli in The Revenant e Room.

Tra i non protagonisti sono stati invece a sorpresa Idris Elba e Alicia Vikander ad imporsi per i loro ruoli in Beasts of No Nation e The Danish Girl.

Il best ensemble è andato invece a Spotlight, con pieno merito: il film di Mc Carthy è stato un lavoro di squadra, così come quello dei giornalisti del Boston Globe, protagonisti.

Ecco tutti i premiati per cinema e tv. Non c’è che dire, la Screen Actors Guild ha preso a cuore la polemica sui premi troppo ‘bianchi’, laureando tutti gli attori di colore che poteva. Idris Elba, due volte, Uzo Aduba, Viola Davis, Queen Latifah: su dieci premi individuali, cinque sono andati ad attori di colore.

Altra curiosità: dei cinque film, i cui attori sono stati premiati, ben tre hanno debuttato alla Mostra di Venezia.
