La Directors Guild sceglie i cinque migliori registi dell’anno

Era ormai l’ultima associazione sindacale rimasta a dover annunciare i candidati ai premi di fine anno: la Directors Guild of America ha scelto finalmente i cinque registi che si contenderanno la palma del migliore.

I prescelti sono esattamente gli stessi cinque nominati ai Golden Globes di domenica sera:

Bradley Cooper, A Star Is Born
Alfonso Cuarón, Roma
Peter Farrelly, Green Book
Spike Lee, BlacKkKlansman
Adam McKay, Vice

Bradley Cooper ha avuto una segnalazione anche tra i migliori esordienti. Cuaron ha vinto nel 2013 per Gravity e questa è la sua seconda candidatura. La seconda anche per McKay, nominato per La grande scommessa. Per Peter Farrelly e per Spike Lee (sì, proprio così) si tratta della prima nomination.
