Gravity domina le nominations ai BAFTA

I BAFTA, i premi assegnati dalla British Academy sono diventati nel corso dell’ultimo decennio sempre più importanti, anche grazie ad uno spostamento delle date che li hanno posizionati a ridosso degli Oscar.

I favoriti di quest’anno sono Gravity di Alfonso Cuaron, 12 anni schiavo di Steve McQueen e American Hustle di David O.Russell.

A sorpresa il maggior numero di nominations se lo aggiudica il film con George Clooney e Sandra Bullock, ben 11, seguito a 10 dagli altri due. Captain Phillips si ferma a 9.

Bene anche Dietro i candelabri della HBO, che in Inghilterra e nel resto del mondo è uscito in sala, e Philomena presente anche nella cinquina dei migliori film dell’anno.

La grande bellezza è fra i cinque migliori film stranieri. Sinora non ha mai mancato una nominations ai premi che contano.

Curiosa la presenza tra i migliori film “inglesi” di Gravity, Rush e Saving Mr.Banks che di inglese non hanno davvero nulla, salvo la nazionalità di qualcuno dei produttori…
