Poche ore prima della consegna dei Golden Globe, la National Society of Film Critics di sanza a N.Y e L.A., ha scelto Parasite come il miglior film dell’anno, mentre Greta Gerwig ha avuto il prmeio per la migliore regia e Antonio Banderas e Mary Kay Place quelli per i migliori attori.
A Bong Joon ho anche il riconoscimento per la sceneggiatura originale.
