La Legendary, partner delle major in molti dei più grandi blockbuster contemporanei, ora in mano cinese, ha dato il via libera alla seconda parte di Dune, il film di Denis Villeneuve che ha finanziato assieme alla Warner Bros il primo capitolo coprendo il 75% del budget.
Dune: Part Two uscirà ad ottobre 2023.
Villeneuve ha commentato: “I just received news from Legendary that we are officially moving forward with Dune: Part Two,” Villeneuve said in a statement. “It was a dream of mine to adapt Frank Herbert’s Dune, and I have the fans, the cast, and crew, Legendary and Warner Bros. to thank for supporting this dream. This is only the beginning.”
Torneranno Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Zendaya e Stellan Skarsgard, ma ci saranno nuovi ruoli per l’Imperatore e la figlia Irulan, per l’altro nipote del Barone Harkonnen Feyd Rautha,
