Gli Screen Actors Guild Awards, i premi del sindacato degli attori premiano il cast di American Hustle e confermano i vincitori dei Critics Choice Awards.
I migliori attori protagonisti sono Matthew McConaughey per Dallas Buyers Club e Cate Blanchett per Blue Jasmine. I non protagonisti Jared Leto, sempre per Dallas Buyers Club e Lupita Nyong’o per 12 anni schiavo.
Nessuna novità significativa verso l’Oscar, ma la conferma dei frontrunner. Il suo di Dallas Buyers Club e la Blanchett sembrano avere le mani sulla statuetta, mentre la Nyong’o dovrà vedersela con Jennifer Lawrence, che già l’anno scorso beffò all’ultimo Jessica Chastain.
