Due misere stellette e buone dosi di sarcasmo e ironia: al critico di punta del Guardian l’ultimo film di Brad Pitt non e’ proprio piaciuto.
Bradshaw se la prende con i carrozzoni hollywoodiani – World War Z non solo e’ interpretato, ma e’ anche prodotto da Brad Pitt – capaci di generare delle aspettative folli e immotivate per dei film da poco.
“He’s the producer-star of this bloated and boring zombie action thriller that’s been in production for so long I think I remember first hearing about it in the playground at primary school.”
La mano pesante degli studios si fa poi sentire nel trattamento riservato all’omonimo romanzo di Max Brooks, da cui il film e’ tratto.
“Once Hollywood gets its rabid fangs into a complex book, it often turns it into a shambling, snarling parody of itself.”
