Il personaggio creato da Raymond Chandler, l’investigatore Philip Marlowe, torna in una nuova incarnazione cinematografica con Neal Jordan che dirige Liam Neeson. Due irlandesi per il più americano dei detective privati.
Il film l’ha scritto William Monahan (The Departed) che ha adattato il romanzo di John Banville del 2014 “The Black-Eyed Blonde”.
MARLOWE, a gripping noir crime thriller set in late 1930’s Los Angeles, centers around a street-wise, down on his luck detective; Philip Marlowe, played by Liam Neeson, who is hired to find the ex-lover of a glamorous heiress, daughter of a well-known movie star. The disappearance unearths a web of lies, and soon Marlowe is involved in a dangerous, deadly investigation where everyone involved has something to hide.
Assieme Neeson, ci saranno Diane Kruger, Jessica Lange, Danny Huston e Alan Cumming.
Il film uscirà negli States il 15 febbraio.
