Altro nome importante che approda stabilmente su Netflix è quello di Gareth Evans, il regista gallese di The Raid e della serie Gangs of London.
Il regista ha firmato un accordo di esclusiva pluriennale con il gigante dello streaming e il suo primo film sarà Havoc, interpretato da Tom Hardy.
Secondo l’informatissimo Deadline, “The story is set after a drug deal gone wrong, a bruised detective must fight his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician’s estranged son, while unraveling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city”.
Evans aveva diretto per Netflix anche il suo ultimo film, il deludente Apostolo.
