Sarà trasmesso dalla HBO il prossimo mese di maggio il nuovo adattamento di Fahrenheit 451, il romanzo di fantascienza di Ray Bradbury, già portato sullo schermo da Truffaut nel 1966, con Julie Christie e Oscar Werner.
Questa volta sarà Ramin Bahrani (At any price, 99 homes)a dirigere il progetto con Michael Shannon, Michael B. Jordan e Sofia Boutella protagonisti.
La sceneggiatura è stata scritta assieme ad Amir Naderi. Non è escluso che il film passi prima al Festival di Cannes.
Fahrenheit 451 is based on Ray Bradbury’s classic novel. In a future where the media is an opiate, history is rewritten and “firemen” burn books, Jordan plays Guy Montag, a young fireman who struggles with his role as law enforcer and with his “mentor”, played by Shannon.
