The film is based on a true story and will be narrated by Del Toro’s character. The film follows his life as he returns from World War II with a mysterious illness erroneously diagnosed as schizophrenia by doctors, so he seeks the help of Amalric’s analyst Georges for a second opinion. The two schedule daily appointments and soon become firm friends.
