The Comedian, il nuovo film di Sean Penn si arricchisce di una nuova protagonista. Kristen Wiig (Le miche della sposa), affiancherà Robert De Niro in questa commedia agrodolce, prodotta da Art Linson.
Le riprese cominceranno a giugno, quando la Wiig sarà libera dagli impegni del Saturnday Night Live.
In “The Comedian,” Wiig is set to star as a redhead love interest for De Niro’s has-been comedian, who is sentenced to community service after hitting a heckler in the head with a microphone.
