I nuovi Golden Globes ricominciano con il successo di Oppenheimer di Christopher Nolan, che si conquista 5 delle sue 8 nominations, per il miglior film drammatico, la migliore regia, i due attori Cillian Murphy e Robert Downey Jr e la colonna sonora di Ludwig Goransson.
Gli altri vincitori di serata sono a sorpresa il Leone d’Oro Povere creature! di Lanthimos, che vince per la miglior commedia dell’anno e per l’attrice protagonista Emma Stone e la Palma d’oro Anatomia di una caduta di Justine Triet che conquista sia il premio per il miglior film internazionale, sia 2quello per la migliore sceneggiatura.
Al venerato Hayao Miyazaki il premio per l’animazione con Il ragazzo e l’airone.
E alla celebratissima Barbie di Greta Gerwig? Solo il premio al blockbuster dell’anno, una novità francamente risibile dei premi di quest’anno e quello per la miglior canzone, che va a Billie Eilish per un pezzo che nessuno ricorda e non a Dua Lipa per il tormentone Dance the Night Away.
Nonostante le nove candidature, il risultato è giustamente minimo.
Tra gli attori i quattro protagonisti sono appunto Cillian Murphy, Paul Giamatti di The Holdovers, Lily Gladstone di Killers of the Flower Moon e Emma Stone.
Mentre tra i non protagonisti oltre a Robert Downey Jr, si è distinta la bravissima Da’Vine Joy Randolph di The Holdovers.
