La Paramount, incurante dei risultati in calo dell’ultimo quinto Transformers di Michael Bay e di quelli ancor più modesti di Bumblebee, ha messo in cantiere un nuovo spin off della serie originale affidando la regia a Steven Caple Jr. (Creed II).
Rise Of The Beasts (in italiano Il risveglio) è interpretato da Anthony Ramos e Dominique Fishback, e vede come protagonista Optimus Prime già a Brooklyn, New York City, nel 1994 e poi si muove verso il Peru.
Nel cast anche Peter Dinklage, Liza Koshy e John DiMaggio. Tobe Nwigwe, Peter Cullen, Ron Perlman, Michelle Yeoh, David Sobolov, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez.
Returning to the action and spectacle that have captured moviegoers around the world, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a ’90s globetrotting adventure and introduce the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons to the existing battle on earth between Autobots and Decepticons. Directed by Steven Caple Jr. and starring Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback, the film arrives in theatres June 9, 2023.
