Il giornalista Michael Bronner l’ha adattato per il cinema.
Tahar Rahim intepreterà Mohamedou. Accanto a lui ci saranno Benedict Cumberbatch, Jodie Foster, e Shailene Woodley.

Le riprese cominceranno in Sudafrica a dicembre per un’uscita prevedibile a fine 2020.
