Paul Schrader torna dietro la macchina da presa, a distanza di due anni dal discusso The Canyons, per dirigere il poliziesco Dying of the light, interpretato da Nicolas Cage e Anton Yelchin, ed oggetto di una battaglia tra lo stesso regista ed i produttori.
Evidentemente un accordo è stato trovato, visto che il film è pronto ad uscire.

Il film uscirà in limited release il 5 dicembre. Nel cast anche la rediviva Irene Jacob, musa di Kieslowski, eclissatasi dopo la morte del grande maestro polacco.
