Laura Dern è stata una delle muse del cinema di David Lynch, con Velluto Blu, Cuore Selvaggio e l’ultimo inquietante INLAND EMPIRE.
Ed è lei ad aver dichiarato che il maestro sta lavorando a qualcosa di nuovo per il grande schermo.
Eppure Lynch non ha mai manifestato di avere nuovi progetti, almeno pubblicamente. Negli ultimi quindici anni ci sono stati solo due film: Mulholland Drive nasceva come un pilota di una serie tv mai girata e INLAND EMPIRE nel 2006 sembrava una sorta di canto del cigno.
Secondo la Dern invece: “I will be working with David Lynch when I’m 80. He is cooking, he’s cooking up trouble, and I will be part of that trouble. He’s the consummate renaissance man, he just makes art wherever he can get his hands on it. But film, ultimately, I know is his great love, and I think he will always circle back to it. He’s definitely cooking.”
