Il prossimo film di Ben Affleck, fresco dell’Oscar per Argo, sarà Live by Night, tratto da un romanzo di Dennis Lehane.
Affleck aveva già portato sullo schermo Gone baby gone di Lehane. Ritornerà quindi per la terza volta nella sua amata Boston, con un film però ambientato negli anni del Proibizionismo:
The story set during the Prohibition in Boston, centering on Joe Coughlin, the son of a cop who finds himself slipping into a life of organized crime. As he climbs the ladder of organized crime, he journeys from Tampa to Cuba, encounters various dames, lowlifes and more in tale of revenge and redemption.
La produzione dovrebbe partire in autunno.
