The story centers on Julian (Gosling), a man living in exile in Bangkok after killing a cop. He runs a Thai boxing club with his brother as a front for the family’s drug smuggling operation, run by his Florida-based mom Jenna (Kristin Scott Thomas). But when his brother gets murdered, Julian is put on a path that will find him squaring off against a retired cop named Chang aka The Angel of Vengeance.
