Andrek Dominik, il talentuoso regista di Jesse James e Cogan, sta lavorando all’adattamento di Blonde, il romanzo premio Pulitzer di Joyce Carol Oates, dedicato a Marilyn Monroe.
“It starts when she’s seven and it ends when she dies” ha dichiarato Dominik, “It’s sort of a Polanski descent-into-madness-type movie. It’s about this orphan girl who gets lost in the woods. I love it, it’s my dream project and I’ve been working on it for years and years and years.
It’s very pseudo-Freudian. The lines between fantasy and reality become very blurred in the story.”
La protagonista dovrebbe essere Naomi Watts, che però ha un’agenda molto fitta nel 2013.
Brad Pitt dovrebbe produrre il film con la sua Plan B.
