Originariamente pensato per Ryan Gosling ed Emma Stone, Focus, diretto da John Requa e Glenn Ficarra (Crazy Stupid Love), sarà invece interpretato da Ben Affleck.
Kristen Dunst è in trattative per il ruolo femminile: the Warner Bros. movie tells the story of a veteran con-man (Affleck) who becomes romantically involved with a newcomer (Stewart) and finds the relationship challenged by their illegal activities. When they meet again down the line, the complications have long-lasting effects.
Nonostante la grande stim che nutriamo per Affleck regista, come attore è sempre stato decisamente legnoso. Quanto alla Stewart sinora non ha dato prova di essere da meno. Se li paragoniamo ai due attori pensati in origine… Quando si dice un pessimo casting!
