Premi César: Emilia Pérez trionfa con 7 riconoscimenti

E’ un piccolo trionfo francese quello di Emilia Pérez di Jacques Audiard che vince ben 7 premi César, dominando la serata della cinquantesima edizione, che ha visto premiati alla carriera Costa-Gavras e Julia Roberts.

Catherine Deneuve, maestra di cerimonie, ha dedicato la serata all’Ucraina.

Le polemiche e la violentissima campagna stampa che ha azzoppato il candidato francese agli Oscar dopo le 13 candidature ricevute, non ha attecchito nel suo Paese d’origine, dove Audiard ha un rilievo e una considerazione che Hollywood non conosce neppure.

Per il figlio del grande sceneggiatore Michel Audiard si tratta del tredicesimo César di una carriera leggendaria: premiato per la prima volta nel 1995 per la sua opera prima Regarde les hommes tomber, inedito in Italia, ha vinto quattro volte per la migliore regia con Tutti i battiti del mio cuore, Il profeta, I fratelli Sisters e Emilia Pérez e cinque volte per la migliore sceneggiatura.

E allora Emilia Pérez ha vinto per il miglior film dell’anno, la migliore regia, l’adattamento, la fotografia, la colonna sonora, il sonoro e gli effetti speciali.

Agli altri candidati Il Conte di Montecristo, Souleymane’s Story, L’Amour Ouf, L’uomo nel bosco sono rimaste solo le briciole.
