Dopo il trionfo di Oppenheimer, Nolan non sembra intenzionato ad abbracciare progetti semplici e la sua ambizione lo spinge verso i Lestrigoni e le Sirene.
Universal infatti con una breve nota ha annunciato che il prossimo film del regista inglese non sarà un horror, nè un film di vampiri, ma l’adattamento del capolavoro di Omero, L’Odissea.
“Christopher Nolan’s next film The Odyssey is a mythic action epic shot across the world using brand new IMAX film technology. The film brings Homer’s foundational saga to IMAX film screens for the first time and opens in theaters everywhere on July 17, 2026”.
Il cast già annunciato comprende Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o e Charlize Theron.
