Grazie a Vanity Fair abbiamo la prima immagine di Dune, il film diretto da Denis Villeneuve, a partire dal romanzo di Frank Herbert.
Dune dovrebbe uscire il 18 dicembre prossimo. Chissà se davvero sarà così.
Nell’immagine vediamo Timothée Chalamet, il protagonista del film, nei panni di Paul Atreides, sul suo pianeta d’origine, Caladan.
Chalamet ha dichiarato: “The immediately appealing thing about Paul was the fact that in a story of such detail and scale and world-building, the protagonist is on an anti-hero’s-journey of sorts. He thinks he’s going to be sort of a young general studying his father and his leadership of a fighting force before he comes of age, hopefully a decade later, or something like that.”
Villeneuve ed Eric Roth che ha scritto l’adattamento si sono presi qualche libertà…
