Ryan Gosling ha parlato a lungo con la stampa, per la presentazione di Come un tuono.
Ovviamente gli sono state richieste anticipazioni sui due film che ha già girato con Nicolas Winding Refn e Terrence Malick.
Su Only God Forgives, ha chiarito: “It’s very extreme. It’s part of the same dream as ‘Drive,’ but it’s more of a nightmare than a dream but it’s more extreme”
Il film non è stato prodotto da una major ed ha un budget bassissimo, così Gosling e Refn hanno avuto carta bianca: “We shot it in Thailand and no one was watching. So that’s what happens when you let Nicolas loose in Thailand. There’s no one around to put the reins on and he’s completely unleashed”
Lo vedremo finalmente a Cannes? La lunga attesa è dovuta forse proprio a qualche problema di montaggio…
Gosling ha parlato anche del suo coinvolgimento nel film che Malick ha girato in estate sul mondo della musica: “No, there was no script. I think he used to have to write them and now I think they’re onto the fact that he doesn’t use them anyway so they’re not requiring them”.
“I’m in the music one. Fassbender, Rooney Mara, Cate Blanchett, Natalie Portman, Val Kilmer, Patti Smith, Robert Plant, Johnny Rotten, the Black Lips, just I mean every day was unlike anything”.
Gosling ha poi rivelato che Malick sta montando non solo i due film girati in estate ed in autunno, ma contemporaneamente altri tre, tra cui The voyage of time:
“He’s doing more than two. He’s cutting like five movies right now, one of which is about the creation of the universe that he’s been working on for the last fifteen years but I’m not in that one I don’t think.”
