Giovedì mattina ci sarà la conferenza stampa di presentazione della 78ma edizione e ancora non conosciamo il film d’apertura del festival, ma oggi abbiamo la conferma di una primizia attesa.
Tom Cruise tornerà sulla Croisette per presentare il 14 maggio, il secondo giorno del festival, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, fuori concorso.
E’ solo la terza volta che il divo presenta un suo film a Cannes dopo Cuori ribelli di Ron Howard del 1992 e Top Gun: Maverick del 2022, ma evidentemente con l’ultima trionfale e fortunata apparizione ci ha preso gusto e non c’è piattaforma migliore per un film che esce in sala dopo una settimana che un lancio mondiale a Cannes.
Trent’anni di missioni impossibili si concluderanno così al Grand Theatre Lumière.
