Il nuovo film di Peter Landesman (Parkland, Zona d’ombra) è dedicato a Gola Profonda, la talpa dell’amministrazione Nixon, che indirizzò le indagini di Woodward e Bernstein del Washington Post sul caso Watergate.
Gola Profonda era in realtà Mark Felt, un agente dell’FBI. Solo nel 2005 venne allo scoperto.

The true identity of the secret informant remained a mystery and source of much public curiosity and speculation for more than 30 years. Il protagonista è interpretato da Liam Neeson. Accanto a lui Diane Lane, Josh Lucas, Tony Goldwyn, Michael C. Hall, Tom Sizemore, Bruce Greenwood, Brian D’Arcy James, Noah Wyle e Maike Monroe.
Il film uscirà il 29 settembre negli USA.
